About Us

Our team, named Build Alive comprises four young people who belongs to Alive Community Network (ACN), a voluntary organization located near Yong-En Care Centre(YCC). We are passionate about helping our community, and we felt the best way would be to first help our immediate neighbours, which in this case, would be YCC.
As most of us have just completed our studies and have just started working, we appreciate the value of education and the help youths can get in order to complete their studies. It will be a pity if young people cannot excel and get the education they desire because of a lack of funds. Hence, we can identify most with YCC’s Education Fund. Furthermore, as Chinatown is a greying town, we felt that it is important that we let the youths who need help and are staying in this region know that they are not forgotten.
We named ourselves as “Build Alive” because we want to build lives and give them the opportunity to be “Alive”.
