Mai Zhi Hao (Zhang Wen Xiang) comes out of prison with not just a criminal record, but a certificate - he has learnt to cook!
Not surprisingly, SCORE recommends him to the “Twilight Kitchen” restaurant.
But as they say, reality bites, and he fumbles at the very bottom as a kitchen help.
He is even sent to care for Min (Moses Lim), once proud owner and Master Chef of “Twilight Kitchen”, but now a wheelchair-bound stroke victim, forsaken outside his own house by his family.
Before long, the two develop a friendship; Min takes Hao under his wings and Hao learns the skills from the ailing master himself.
But the days of the “Twilight Kitchen” itself are numbered -faced with sibling rivalry, greed and dwindling customers.
Can the once glorious “Twilight Kitchen” be saved in time?
Min’s health is fast failing and all the staff have suddenly resigned…
