From Anointing to Glory

God must repossess the Church if He is going to redefine the Church. This repossession must begin with a restoration of the people of God back to the person of God. God’s people must move beyond the pursuit of the gifts in order to pursue the Giver. So many have financed their own journey away from the Father’s face with those very gifts. In our pursuit of His glory we are consumed with the ‘tracks’ of God rather than living in the ‘present’ Presence of God.
We are fascinated with the anointing and fearful of the Glory. The anointing empowers flesh but the glory disables flesh. The difference between the two is like the difference between static electricity and grabbing an electric wire with your bare hand. Ask Uzzah!
The journey from the anointing to the glory will involve death. Only dead things can handle the glory. Only dead men can see His face.
