THE MAGICIAN’S NEPHEW - The whole adventure begins when Digory and Polly find themselves in eccentric Uncle Andrew’s secret study. But when Uncle Andrew tricks Polly into touching the magic ring, she vanishes into the Other World. Digory is aghast, and determines immediately to go in search of her. Not only dose he find Polly but together they listen to Aslan’s song as he creates the enchanted world of Narnia, full of sun, trees, flowers, grass and animals.

THE LION, THE WITCH AND THE WARDRODE - “They saw Aslan is no the move. Perhaps he has already landed,” whispered the Beaver. Edmund felt a sensation of mysterious horror. Peter felt brave and adventurous. Susan felt as if some delightful strain of music had just floated by. And Lucy got that feeling when you realise it’s the beginning of summer. So, deep in the bewitched land of Narnia, the children set out on the most exciting and enchanted adventure ever written.

THE HORSE AND HIS BOY - After Shasta learnt from the mysterious stranger that he was not Arsheesh’s son, he decides to escape from the cruel land of Calormen, and with the help and persuasion of the talking horse Bree, he goes north towards Narnia where the air is sweet and freedom reigns. Leading and Guiding Youth

Author: Elaine J Kennedy

Training youth is as difficult as operating a yo-yo.

We release them, then draw them back, and release them again like the yo-yo doing this continually without abandoning them.

How we teach youth is important and is much different than teaching children. What we teach determines their world-view.

Youth ministry is helping youth pay attention to the right matters, rather than deceiving them with junk and fakery.
