Course Outline - Archeology & Mid-Eastern Customs
Archeologists for the last two hundred years have been excavating parts of Israel and the surrounding region. Through their excavations they have unearthed many important discoveries which help make better sense of difficult passages of the Bible. They also confirm many of the occurrences mentioned in the Bible to show them as historically accurate.
How will this course be helpful to me?
1. If you are reaching out to a non-Christian, it is always helpful to know what archeology says about the historically accuracy of the Bible
2. If you are puzzled by passages in the Bible which refer to strange lands and practices totally different from your modern experience, this course will give you a much better understanding.
3. If you want a deeper appreciation of Scripture by understanding how life was like back then, this course will be beneficial.
