Course Description
This course is an intensive study of the two epistles of Paul to the Corinthians. These epistles deal with such areas as church problems and discipline, the gifts and operation of the Spirit, and church ordinances and practices.
Romans and Galatians
The next course will cover the New Testament books of Romans and Galatians. Both these books are crucial in our understanding of God’s grace. Here we will investigate the relationship between grace, faith and the law and make sense of these fundamental theological issues. In covering this course, we will examine every passage of these two letters and glean spiritual applications for modern living. A point by point description of what you will gain through the course is listed below.
This course is a study of the five books of the Old Testament commonly known as the Poetic Books, with a brief introduction to Hebrew poetry. The books studied are Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Song of Solomon, and Lamentations. An analysis is made of the authorship, literary structure, doctrine, and theology of each book, with emphasis placed on the role of wisdom literature in the Christian life and faith.
It will be the objective of this course to provide insight as to the role and message of the Old Testament prophets. A general comprehension of the times and the background events will be sought to foster an appreciation of the message of each prophetic messenger. The scope of this semester will be the prophetic books of the Old Testament in chronological sequence, according to the textbook, including Habakkuk, Nahum, Ezekiel, Obadiah, Daniel, Haggai, Zechariah, Joel and Malachi. The amount of time spent on Daniel will be limited to providing an overview as the course on “Revelation and Daniel” furnishes an in-depth study of this book.

The book of Acts deals with the life and the history of the early church. Being Apostolic Christians we want to pattern the book of Acts as closely as we can. To do this we want to know among other things

How the early church spread the gospel to others?
