Course Outline - Old Testament Prophets 2
Thursday, March 9th, 2006It will be the objective of this course to provide insight as to the role and message of the Old Testament prophets. A general comprehension of the times and the background events will be sought to foster an appreciation of the message of each prophetic messenger. The scope of this semester will be the prophetic books of the Old Testament in chronological sequence, according to the textbook, including Habakkuk, Nahum, Ezekiel, Obadiah, Daniel, Haggai, Zechariah, Joel and Malachi. The amount of time spent on Daniel will be limited to providing an overview as the course on “Revelation and Daniel” furnishes an in-depth study of this book.
