It’s time once again as a church for us to unite in corporate prayer. This July to August churches in Singapore join in a season of fasting and prayer as we ask the Lord to soften the hearts of the masses who have not come to know Him, bring revival to His church and to restore His people. I urge you to pick one of those prayer booklets found in our church office and join us in prayer.

Remember, we will not see God’s glory in our midst or in our lives, until we make prayer an important focus!

Prayer Pointers

1.    Pray for some of our members and contacts who are struggling in their walk with God. Ask the Lord to touch them and restore them to faith in Him

2. Pray that in this season of prayer, no one will faint (spiritually speaking) but we will be strengthened to serve the Lord even more.

1. Upcoming Sermons

This coming Sunday, I end my series on the 7 churches in Revelation by sharing on the Church in Laodecia. If you know someone who needs to hear a stirring message to get them to serve God, do bring them down for this Sunday’s service.

2. Theology of the Church
This coming Monday we discuss the Lord’s supper (Communion) and Divine Healing and briefly examine what the Scripture mentions of these two areas. Class begins at 7:45pm. Do join us for this session even if you are not formally enrolled in this class.

3. Connecting With God

Our cells will be dealing with the topic on prayer. Bishop Hanson who is presenting this series has been used by God successfully to establish many prayer groups in the US. We invite you to join with us during this series at the various locations where we meet in cells. If you do not have a cell, or do not know where you can attend these meetings, do contact Paul Teo at paul@alivecommunity.net for more information.

4. Because of the Times Asia 2006

Tabernacle of Joy is hosting a great conference from 27 to 29 July at Joy Centre, Chinatown Point. There will be some really anointed preachers ministering in those sessions. I hope you make plans to come for the event, at least in the evenings if you cannot take leave for the day time sessions. TJ will be having a very large number of foreign guests so their two auditoriums will be full. They have however made some room for ACC members. 5. Epaphras ministry

The Epaphras ministry focuses on intercessory prayer for those who need breakthroughs in their life. The goal of this ministry is to pray through for people in need until they see victory. If you feel that you would like to be part of this ministry, please drop me an email. We meet on alternate Tuesdays for prayer and ministry. We will be meeting this 4th July Tuesday, 8pm at my place.

If you know someone who has such an interest, do let them know too.
