Updates on Retreat

June 6th, 2007 by Mei Cheng

Dear Church

Greetings to you in Jesus name!

Because of the low sign ups for the retreat in Malacca, we have decided to make some adjustments. Since we are having Rev John and Deborah Wolfram all the way from the States, we would like many more of you to benefit from their ministry. They are veteran missionaries and they have been a blessing to many people all over the world.

As such, there will be nightly meetings on 14th and 15th of June 2007 at 7.45pm, auditorium.
On 16th June Saturday, we will have teaching in the morning from 11am (sharp) to 1pm.
These will be good opportunities to receive God’s word in our lives and be challenged to serve God more.

I would like to find out if we can add a session on Friday morning, please inform Mei Cheng if you are willing to make the extra morning session so that we can know if there are anyone who can attend it.

Bro Wolfram will also minister on Sunday, 17th June and we are planning to make it an evangelistic meeting so your friends can benefit from their evangelistic ministry. We trust everyone will come for these meetings. There are no charges for this first part.

For those of you who want to have a short break after the teaching sessions to internalise the word and to spend some quality time seeking the Lord, praying and worshipping, we will have a retreat up at El Sanctuary, Malacca beginning Sunday afternoon 17th June. We will return by the evening of Tuesday, 19th June.

The speakers will not go with us, but we plan to have a structured programme of prayer, seeking the Lord, meditation, sharing and ministry in the evenings and mornings of the short retreat in Malacca. I will be sharing some insights from Scripture etc etc. I do believe the experience will be a blessing to those who attend this extra segment.

The cost for the retreat will be $20 cheaper than what was advertised initially:) Please inform Mei Cheng if you are interested in attending the time of refreshing in Malacca as soon as possible.

My apologies to those who signed up initially for the retreat in Malacca. I am sorry to disappoint your plans but the numbers made it important to move the teaching sessions to Singapore where more can attend. If you have paid for the retreat and are not going for the Malacca segment, Mei Cheng will refund you.

Thank you all for understanding!

The Lord bless you all richly
Bobby
