3. Tuition classes for Primary 4 Science & Maths, Primary 5 Eng & Math, Secondary 2 Maths & Science have started. New students of other levels are welcome to enroll with Mei Cheng directly.

4. Class schedule for the upcoming Counsellling Diploma modules - Saturday morning classes start from 930 am to 1230 pm. All weekday night classes start from 7 pm to 10 pm.

(a) Psychopathology

First week of intensive classes - 10/3 (Saturday morning), 12/3 (Monday night), 14/3(Wednesday night), 16/3(Friday night)
Saturday classes - 9 Saturdays from 17/3 to 12/5 (Saturday mornings without break)

(b) Grief & Crisis Counselling (repeat class): 13 weeks from 21/3 to 13/6 (Wednesday nights without break)

5. Chinatown Network Prayer meeting will be held on 7 March, Wed at Fairfield Methodist Church, Kuehn Hall Level 1 at 730pm.

6. Prayer Service will be held on 30 March 2007, Friday night at 745pm, Auditorium. Subsequent prayer services will be held on the last Friday of each month throughout 2007.

Dear Church,

As you know, we have both Bro John Wong and Bro Randy with us in our church. They are great at teaching and ministering to those who would be more comfortable in either Mandarin or Tagalog.

Bro John used to pastor the Mandarin service of the church in KL. He has also taught many Bible studies and seen a good number of people baptised. I believe he will be a great help with Chinese speaking contacts. I am sure you might have colleagues who are from PRC or parents / relatives who are open to God but would prefer a Mandarin
medium for more personal learning. This will be a great opportunity for them to be reached. We have always  talked about setting up something for Mandarin speakers and here is a golden opportunity with someone well trained to do it. Apart from that, some of you who want to get a better grasp of using Mandarin in ministry settings, Bro John will be a great help.

Bro Randy used to pastor a Filipino service at a large church in Singapore. He has been a student at our CLC classes and came to embrace the beautiful truth of who God is and the power of baptism in Jesus name. He is currently running a weekly bible study for Filipinos at his house. They are using some of the material that our church uses, such as the DVD bible studies.

If you happen to have Filippino colleagues who might be interested to find out more about the baptism of the Holy Spirit, water baptism etc, Bro Randy will be a great person to help with this. In general Filipinos are Roman Catholics but a growing number are hungry to know more of God beyond the institutional church.

Dear Church,

Please pray for Bro Clement in Sabah, a missionary we support. He just came out from the Operating theatre. He has two blockages in his arteries and needs a bypass operation soon.

Please remember him in your prayers that the Lord will do the needed miracle and strengthen him.
