1. On 3rd December (Sunday), we’ll be screening a video “Raised from the dead”. This video describes the story of a man who died and came back to life after 3 days! It will be a good opportunity to invite friends who need to hear a strong message about God.

2. Epaphras ministry held a powerful prayer meeting on healing last Tuesday night with good report from Jiawen! She will be testifying about her miracle in next Sunday service. On last week of November, Epaphras ministry will place its focus on the area of work - handling work stress, help with difficulties at work, favour at work.

3. Last Friday’s church-wide prayer service had been a powerful time of intercession for our various outreach efforts! Do join us again on 2nd December, Friday for another fervent time of prayer.

4. Monday’s Bible Study Class is on-going with the course on “Signs & Wonders”. Do join us at 7.45pm every Monday.

Hi Church,

Recently, Shaw our landlords have indicated that they want to increase the rental to all of our units. The increase has been substantial, and amounts to nearly an extra $2000. Our board has deliberated about this matter and has thought through some of our current needs.

As it stands, apart from Sunday, we do not utilise very much of our two units. That then becomes a waste since each unit is rather expensive and may not represent the best use of continued financial output. At the current rental price, we can possibly manage (though we have been on a very tight budget), but with higher rentals, this is stretching our budget and may lead to deficit. Shaw has repeatedly informed us that they will not drop the price for us on our units.

Considering this our board has raised this matter with our leaders about the possibility of giving up 02-10/11, the current church office, and acquiring only 02-12 which was renovated more recently. 02-12 (Alive Community Network) also complies with certain fire and safety regulations which allow it to be used for educational purposes. As of now, there have been no other possibilites that we can see, thus we are likely to give up our lease of 02-10/11 which expires the end of January 2007.

I know that we would love more space especially on Sunday. However from the viewpoint of better stewardship, this will be a waste seeing that the other office is not utililsed much during the week. If this was an industrial plot where rentals were cheap, this would have been fine, but we happen to be in a prime location where rentals are sky high.

Furthermore we are thinking that potentially God may have a better place for us in the near future. If that’s the case we want to have some savings in our church account to help with future renovation costs etc. if the Lord would lead us to somewhere more conducive for our ministry.

Meanwhile I would like to hear from you in case you have some concerns with regards to this matter. Do email me or the board (Victor, Leonard, Jack, Terence) and we will be happy to hear your viewpoint and see what can be done. Do also pray that the Lord will bless the current projects we have come up with which attempts to bless the community but also
allow us to be more self sustaining (the counselling programme, the tuition programme).

Dear saints,

Currently, 42 of us have indicated that we would like to take the coach to KL. To save all of us some hard-earned money, I have taken the liberty to switch to a 45-seater coach instead. This will, of course, mean that everyone will pay lesser than what was previously communicated. Instead of paying $67.00, we will be paying $43.00 now. However, this price does NOT include any insurance.

You can start paying me the money from 12 Nov, Sunday. All payment has to be made BY 9 Dec, Saturday.

The list below are people who will be taking the coach. By the way, we do still have 3 available seats for people who would like to come along with us. If you would like to add on your name, please inform me. Please also note that there will be NO price difference if you choose to take the coach for only one way, either to KL or from KL.

Youth - S$120/pax for triple-sharing.
Young Adults and Adults - S$180/pax for twin-sharing;S$170/pax for triple-sharing

2. Room Charges (Executive)
There will be an additional charge of S$80 on top of S$360 (twin-sharing rate). The total charges will come up to S$440. Pastor recommends that families with young kids to take up this room because it is more spacious than a Deluxe room.

3. Package includes all breakfasts (Mon, Tues, Wed) and a high-tea on Sunday afternoon (10 Dec). Please note that there will be no refund if you arrive late and miss the high-tea. We will advise you on the high-tea timing at a later date.

4. Breakfast for children (5-12 yrs) will be S$30 (Chargeable at S$10/day).
