Have you worshipped this week? If you heard last Sunday’s sermon you would know that worship is much more than a song. It’s about surrendering to God’s will, submitting to His voice and serving Him. I believe that when we remain open to God, He will show us how we can effectively worship.

It’s been a hectic few weeks for some of us in the church with many seminars, preachers and programmes that we have had. I do trust that the Lord has blessed you in some way through these meetings. In case you were not able to come for some of these meetings, we have DVDs available for you to purchase.

Since the beginning of 2006 we have seen the hand of the Lord at work in this District.
Up to last Sunday, we have recorded that 180 have been baptized and 140 were filled with Holy Ghost. Just over 1000 people attend our services weekly throughout the District.
Our target for 2006 is 300 souls. We have 5 more months to go and we are getting there!! Over 414 people visited our churches.

Hi saints,
1. Sunday morning prayer
Don’t miss these times of prayer at 10:30am every Sunday morning. The Lord wants to use them to energize and build us and the church.
2. Monday night meeting (14/8)
There’ll be no CLC class instead Joseph Tamel will be ministering to us again at 745pm.
3. Tuesday weekly prayer meetings up to 29/8
Do join Louis as he’ll lead us in fervent prayers for various areas of needs at 745pm.
4.Christmas Programme
Victor Chew is organizing this year’s Christmas event. We want it to make an impact on as many people as possible. We need your help to help out in one of the many areas where coordination and expertise is required to make a short movie. Do respond to Victor on the various areas as follows:
a) Story line and Scriptwriter;
b) Producer;
c) Video crew;
d) sound crew;
e) Cast;
f) PA cum coordinator;
g) Marketing;
h) Finance;
i) Post Production Crew;
j) Animation.
k) Food and hospitality
He would also appreciate if suggestions could be given to him on who is suitable for which position. Suggestions / arrows can come from the
congregation.
5. Payment for lunch
Passover Lunch: Adults = $8 Children > 4yrs old = $4
Seminar lunch: Adults = $6 Students(not on working assignment)=$4
Kindly put the money in the tithing envelope, write ”passover lunch” or “seminar lunch”, your name & the number of pax you’re paying for and drop it in the offering bag.
